Hatred within Religion

hatred

I did this blog here http://prayingforoneday.wordpress.com/2013/08/29/life-on-earth-started-on-mars-say-scientists/ this morning

Since I have had abuse and harsh comments in Email and a few on another place I blogged it. One person who had a go at me has told me before he HATES Islam and blames Islam for many of the problems in the USA and the World. I ask how you can hate if you are a man/woman of God

See this is where I lose the place slightly, as someone who believes in God but has no faith in religion, because of the statement above about Islam and more I have heard. It seems like Catholics dislike Christians and Christians dislike Catholics and I know the issues between Catholics and Protestants, I grew up in it, people die still here due to one religion being unable to live with the other, my Country isn’t as bad as Northern Ireland, where I have family, but it isn’t far from it http://prayingforoneday.wordpress.com/2013/04/14/most-dangerous-rivalry-catholic-vs-protestant-through-football/

I need to just say, ANYONE who knows me well will know at the end of most blogs I say “More love, Less hat” I am not a person of hate, so I am not going to sit here and listen to a goody 2 shoes religious person and take abuse over a scientific finding that we (Humans) may have came from Mars, I never made this finding, I blogged it in a few places, the abuse I got from people proves one thing

RELIGION CAUSES HATERED!

Not with everyone, but with many, for some reason this particular IDIOT wants to have a go at every religion on Earth, blame the Worlds problems in Islam, then have a go at me because I DARE question his/her comfy World. I wasn’t, I was posting scientific FACTS, I am sorry if this shakes someone’s faith, but if you REALLY are religious, then your faith shouldn’t be shaken, I don’t get the hatred spewed at me because I dare say “Humans may have came from Mars” As many do believe anyway. Science proves things, that is what it does, it is not always right, but it can prove more than Religion can, there I said it

Our World is days from WWIII and we wonder why, religion is not to blame, people are, religion is not the issue, idiots are, can I be any clearer? These are ONLY my opinions, I don’t want to try and change anyone’s faith, because I know I don’t want to and  I couldn’t anyway, so what gives with the abuse? I treat any person as I do any person, be you religious, whatever, act like a dick, I will call you one, instead of emailing me pish go onto the blog and debate like a proper blogger.

I am not angry, neither am I surprised, upsetting a religious person seems a very easy thing to do, but I say “More love, less hate” at the end of most blogs, I say I believe in God myself, yet I get IDIOTS filling my email inbox with SHIT telling me to bring the blog down, I didn’t even reply, I did this blog, so if you who sent the worse email has an issue, come here and vent your sorry excuse for a life, I did a blog before and the reply was “Don’t waste your time, it never happened” as if this person had all the proof in the world. For people who LOVE GOD, a minority sure throw a lot of hatred about, think they will get to heaven and I will go to hell

How about just being nice to each other? The World is in a MESS, and it starts with us, the people, people create hate and intolerance and wars and issues

NOT GOD

NOT RELIGION

PEOPLE DO!

More love, less hate

Kenyan Man Tries to Overturn the Death Sentence of Jesus!

Kenyan lawyer Dola Indidis goes to International Court of Justice in bid to overturn conviction handed to Jesus Read more at http://www.broowaha.com/articles/17208/kenyan-man-tries-to-overturn-the-death-sentence-of-jesus-#LKG8G3ClOa9cUDji.99

Kenyan lawyer Dola Indidis goes to International Court of Justice in bid to overturn conviction handed to Jesus

Kenyan lawyer Dola Indidis is on a mission: to get the International Court of Justice at the Hague to overturn the conviction and death sentence of Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago.

Kenyan lawyer Dola Indidis is on a mission: to get the International Court of Justice at the Hague to overturn the conviction and death sentence of Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago.

The logistics, however, are proving a challenge. The target of his lawsuit are the government and religious leaders of Jesus’ day, including the Roman Emperor Tiberius, the Roman King Herod, the Judean Governor Pontius Pilate, as well as the Jewish chief priest, elders and teachers of the law. According to some reports, he also plans to go after the current governments of Italy and Israel, arguing that they inherited laws from the Roman Empire.

“I filed the case because it’s my duty to uphold the dignity of Jesus and I have gone to the ICJ to seek justice for the man from Nazareth,” Indidis told the Nairobian. “His selective and malicious prosecution violated his human rights through judicial misconduct, abuse of office bias and prejudice.”

As a matter of law, Indidis’ efforts will fail. Indidis tried to bring the case here: http://www.kenyalaw.org/Downloads_FreeCases/Trial%20of%20Jesus.pdf to the High Court of Kenya in 2007, but the court refused to hear it, citing a lack of jurisdiction. For the International Court of Justice, it would be impossible to even consider the case, much less rule on it. Anthea Roberts, professor of law at Columbia Law School, explains:

When it comes to contentious cases, the International Court of Justice only has jurisdiction to hear claims that are brought by one state against another state. As this claim is not brought by a state, the ICJ would lack jurisdiction over it. Even if the claim were to be brought by a state, it also needs to be brought against a state, which does not seem to be the case here. And, even then, the two states will need to have consented to the ICJ having jurisdiction to hear the type of case in question … In this case, it is not clear what international law might have been violated and, even if there was such a violation, it is not clear that the relevant states have consented to the ICJ having jurisdiction over the dispute.

But that has not stopped Indidis, who appears to remain confident. He has a Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/dola.indidis asking for donations in support of his cause. He posted a picture of his Law Society of Kenya identification card, as well as a letter dated December 2011 when he first tried to take the case to the Hague. “Together we can win,” he wrote. “Yes we can.”

Ironically, the legal case of Christ began with questions of legal jurisdiction. According to the New Testament narrative, Jesus had been disturbing the social norms by performing miracles and challenging local authorities. Jewish leaders arrested him during Passover on charges of blasphemy because he claimed to be the Son of God. They brought Jesus before Pilate, who claimed he did not have jurisdiction in the case and sent him to King Herod, who sent him back to Pilate. Pilate told the people, “I have examined him in your presence and have not found this man guilty of any of your charges against him … I will therefore have him flogged and release him.” Crowds of people called for Jesus to be crucified, and Pilate gave in. Jesus was then crucified alongside two criminals.

(MORE: Is Reza Aslan Anti-Christian?)

As oddball as the case may be, Indidis’ effort does raise a larger theological question that Christians have long debated: Why did Jesus have to die? Theologians have argued that his death was required for salvation to actually happen and that it was important for Jesus, who claimed to be the Messiah, the God-man, to experience human suffering and death.

TIME devoted a cover story: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,993793,00.html to that question in 2004, when Mel Gibson’s movie The Passion of the Christ premiered

. Theories of atonement, the theological term for the meaning of Jesus’ death, have varied throughout Christian history, and the story is a deep dive into how the doctrine of atonement changed over time:

What was the cosmic reason for his agony? What is its purpose, its divine calculus? How precisely does his death, usually referred to in this context as the atonement, lead to the salvation of humanity? The atonement “is the centerpiece of Christianity, and it’s what distinguishes it from all other religions,” says Giles Gasper, a religious historian who has written a book about one of the topic’s great medieval interpreters. Without at least an intuitive comprehension of atonement, a believer stands little chance of making sense of the faith’s promises of redemption and eternal life.

It is a question believers will continue to ponder. But as the Apostle Paul explained, in the New Testament’s Book of Romans, the atonement comes with rewards: “If we have been united with [Christ] in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.”

Mother’s Inspirational Video of Blind Baby Boy – DARE YOU NOT TO CRY

images

PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO WORD PRESS

In life people can be cruel, we prejudge, we mock and laugh, as a species we can sometimes be ashamed of ourselves.

I came to blog for many reasons, and one was to show love and compassion and open people’s hearts up to the truth that is love, just love with no other message. I try to inject love into the world with love, music, words and stories like this. This video had me in tears. My 21 year old son walked into the room crying and said “You will want to blog this” I said, go for it. I watched this 7 minute video and was CHOCKED 2 minutes in. The love this woman shows for her kid is real, unconditional and proves we don’t abort a Child if the child is not healthy

You be the judge, show live, show humility, humanity and a bit of love, as you do so well Word Press, I dare you not to cry.

Looking for God in a complicated World

Lost and Confused Signpost

I turned 40 years old a few weeks ago, I live in Scotland, a very Catholic or Protestant place, in-fact the West of Scotland is at War with itself over God

I have a relationship with MY God, a God I have seen perform things I could only attribute to God, there was no other thing that it could have been, I asked, it happened, so my God is good and I live my life as best I can to the 10 commandments, I believe if we all did it would be a better world

But let me share a few stories where the confusion starts for me

I have been blogging a few years now and I speak to many people from all over the globe, all corners and I love everyone I speak with as friends. Many are religious; this is where I get lost. A good friend of mine Bishop Eddie Tatro http://bishoptatro.wordpress.com/  gave me this to read http://www.biblestudytools.com/vul/ we started with Job and slowly we will take it from there, Eddie never preaches, if I don’t mention God or Religion we don’t discuss it, he doesn’t preach

Turn the coin around I had many chats with very preachy people, I do try and say “Please, in my own time, please don’t throw it down my throat” as I feel some can put people like me backwards in search of Jesus and a religion. I mean no disrespect, I ask for answers when I say this, Religion for me causes division. I see it at home here in Scotland and I see it all over the World. I spoke in Skype once with 3 others, one was Christian the other 2 were Catholic. I was raised Catholic, but as I got older I turned away, choice I called it. My Mum was not happy, but she respected my wished and knew I still spoke to God

Where I get lost is Jesus and all the things he is said to have done. For me it would take UTTER blind faith to believe in what he is said to have done. I am very scientific minded and proof is high up on my list; the reason I have God is I have what I call proof. For me to believe in what Jesus did or who he was would be a lie to myself and to God, so I can’t do it, it is a leap of faith at this stage of my life I can’t see, and when people say “If you don’t you will go to hell” and other stupid sayings, it puts me 2 steps backwards if you understand.

With Religion all I see is conflict, should someone reply to this article with anger, my point, for me would be proven. Why? Because I am showing love and compassion, why would anyone get angry? Sadly some do and when they do I take many steps back.

I see a World at War over the same God, just in a different name. So where does one start, what bible do I read? There are way too many for me, one Bible, one God and I truly believe we would have a better World. I have heard Catholics seriously offend Protestants and Christians have a real go at Catholicism, there are 10’s of thousands like me, and we are all in the same boat, we see division and War and hatred over God, why does Religion do this? If this makes you angry to read, am I now proving my point? Why be angry

I hope I can get discussion here and maybe, just maybe find an answer

More love, less hate

Islam, Muslim trouble re-starts in France, it threatens the World

image

Muslim woman (Some we can see their whole face, Ironic huh?) Protest in France against the banning of Muslim face veils, live in France, abide by FRENCH LAW!

France is a country that stated woman in a burka is illegal and ANY Muslim stands with French Law if they commit a crime, same as a French born person, this for me is right, http://tinyurl.com/Link-to-Trouble Before anyone starts on me, I have Muslim friends, they just don’t have extremist views and actually hate how many Muslims misread the Quran and do wrong. Muslims, real Muslims are VERY relaxed people and very polite and just normal people to be fair, living in Europe you see a different view, sadly out Media, Europe and State side pain a scary picture about Muslims to the point my Son when he was 16 got off a Bus if someone resembling a Muslim came onto the Bus with a back pack on. This was wrong of my Son and I told him so, but ASK PLEASE! Where does this thinking come from? Who plants this fear in us? The Media do, the Irony is the USA gave (I think)  $3 Billion in Aid to Muslim countries mainly for (WAIT FOR IT) Medical Aid, so Obama is helping his Muslim friends with Health but not the American people. I research as much as I can, if I am wrong, please call me on this, this is what I see, read and am told. Shocking huh!

France took the steps to say “Come to our country, you adhere to our customs and our ways” something I am sure Australia also do or tried to do or are trying to do. I live in the UK and in parts of Oldham in England it is “Almost” Sharia law, I hear stories of brutality and deaths and honour killings that are almost protected by a foreign law, and I must say, I think this is wrong. This is the UK, if you commit any crime, same as the Catholic priest who admitted having sex with boys as young as 8 and was protected by the Vatican and sent to another Church in the middle of nowhere to “Think about what he did” It is my belief both should be dealt with it if it was a UK born citizen as it would be, I find it SHOCKING that Muslims can come into the UK and hide behind their laws that don’t exist in the UK.

http://tinyurl.com/TROUBLE-IN-FRANCE-LINK-HERE

I know many will have mixed feeling and opinions over this, but if, for example a UK or Australian, USA born person, Man or Woman was to commit a crime, or something deemed to be a crime in a Muslim country, they would be brought to task. In one Muslim Country there are several UK citizens in jail awaiting DEATH for being “Accused” of carrying drugs, one I know about was carrying enough Cannabis in a Muslim Country, enough for 1 joint is looking at being killed.

So why is it we, UK, USA, Australian, German etc born people go to Muslim Countries and are held to task for their laws, Muslims come to our Countries and hide behind laws and tradition and religion, for me this is a disgrace and needs looked at now, one of the two men who beheaded soldier Lee Rigby in London is being protected in a safe wing of a prison due to his religion, I am sorry he should be in general population and have to deal with what anyone born in my country should deal with had they committed this atrocious act against Humanity

France have been very honest and said “You come here, you abide by French law” I only with Westminster (London Government) could put their fear of upsetting a rich oil producing nation to one side and treat them as people who are born in the UK, as I say, it disgusts me when Catholic Priests are protected after raping young kids by religion, why is this? I am not being disrespectful but care not a jot if I offend anyone; I am speaking the truth, what gives anyone the right to be safe from UK law because of their laws? I am asking, anyone?

Maybe more countries should follow France’s lead and forget powerful oil giant Countries and just set the law to all who are Human, respective of religion, colour, gender race whatever and jail them and charge them with the same laws I must abide by.

We all remember the Danish newspaper that did a cartoon having a joke at the Prophet Mohammad http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/20/books/20cartoon.html?ref=danishcartooncontroversy&_r=0 threats were sent to the newspaper and Danish flags were burnt in Muslim countries. I ask how far this will go, how bad will it get and should more countries take the French approach?

Living my country, we give him FREE money and pay his rent, free medical care and a free hand! All true, joking aside, he is shit at Hand puppets

The hook-handed extremist, who was finally kicked out of the country last month, benefited from almost £680,000 in legal aid money from the public purse.

In addition, the Home Office spent nearly £250,000 on lawyers in its efforts to get him out, he was eventually put on a plane to the USA late 2012 to face terror charges, good I say, he stood on the streets of the UK spewing hate and death speeches to his radical idiots while the UK paid him disability benefit and housing benefit! I wish I was making this up, I am not, Disgrace, the UK should stand up to these Radical bastards the same as France as I can see this getting worse, we seen a Soldier beheaded in a UK street, what next? The UK becomes a half Muslim State? This is the risk we run and as someone who wants Scottish rule, I will ALWAYS be part of the UK as the Queen will always be part of Scotland

The Inner Peace Award – Just a speech, no nominations

inner-peace-award

I was given this award by a brilliant man, Ajaytao over at http://ajaytao2010.wordpress.com With the instructions to just accept the award.

I stopped accepting Awards, but will accept meaningful ones, or from true friends with meaning.

The only RULE for this Award is I say something about Inner Peace. So I will.

Inner Peace

Inner peace is something I found in my early 30’s, as a kid, to teenager and young man my mind was like a messy bedroom. So I taught myself this trick of the mind, and it worked. I visualised 4 drawers on each side of my brain. Drawer 1 was my Family, Drawer 2 was my pain and so on. Over time, when I found my mind “Busy” with thoughts, I closed my eyes and put the issue I had into the drawer it needed to go into.

I know this is an odd way of dealing with things, but it gave me inner peace. It gave me the clear thinking I needed to be a Father, a Husband a football manager and now someone that writes down their most intimate thoughts and shares them with a thousand people.

Inner peace is something we can all have. Many I know live in pain, are always depressed, I said no more. The pain is there, but I made it my friend and decided the rest I was going to control. It took time, and practice. But over the years, I  can now get an issue or a moment I don’t like and put in a drawer in my mind. A kind of meditation I guess. I just decided if I couldn’t control my pain, I was going to control my mind. And I do my best. I have inner peace. Anger has gone, Anger was my biggest enemy for many years. I was Angry life had dealt me the hand it did with pain. Now I am thankful for the life I have. I am blessed with all I have been given. So I have Inner Peace.

I hope you can find inner peace also x

This song is about World Peace, but I believe before we have World peace, we all need to find peace in our Hearts.

Religion

156760_624962377520311_1162517768_n

The picture above, as people on my Face book will know is the picture I use, it is symbolic of a struggle that we all see every day, we feel every day and we take part in every day, all of us

So you believe in God? If the answer is Yes, then the opposite must be true, Lucifer. To believe in good means you must believe in bad. I researched Religion for most of my life. I believe in God, but I don’t believe in organised Religion. I put this to a Reverent I am good friends with, the man is a Bishop, he sits at very high tables in life, and he is a smart cookie. He told me, to have a relationship with God is all that is important.

I lean towards no faith other than God himself, the truth that he is there and he loves us all and answers the odd prayer and helps us when we are in need. I shouldn’t have to sit in a building and pay to love God; I believe this was one of the biggest tricks to be played on our species. That WE must all sit in a building on God’s day off. Many will and can debate me on this, these are my thoughts.

So you believe in God? I will ask a simple question, who runs the world right now? It is either God or the Devil, one has control, who is it? For me, just look at our World with pure eyes, Lucifer has BOUGHT the majorities souls, Greed and the need for Power has poisoned our very souls

Are we damned to hell? Do we live a lie? Have we been deceived? They said the Devil will come in the face of peace. I see a world with over 2,000 religions and they fight and kill to defend each of the Gods they worship. Happens in my Country with Catholic and Protestants

The biggest mistake we made as a species was dividing God into religions. I tried, I really did to get into religion, and I tried so hard. Now I have a relationship with God, just God, and it works for me. I am living testimony to say “You can be at one with God without having a religion” As religion is what makes our world a harsh one, a world at War. Many ask “Why would God allow Children to die” I asked this question also. I have no answer. If we all just believed in God and forgot religion I think things would be better. But who am I to decide or dictate? I am just some man from some place

Where did it go wrong?

English Mosque praised for offering English Defence League protesters tea

6985

If only this happened all over EARTH!!

After the beheading of Soldier Lee Rigby who serves in a regiment and plays in the same band as a friend did, there has been much unrest in the UK, Mosques have been attached as have anyone looking like a Muslim (I mean that remark in the ugliest way possible, this is what is happening) getting beaten up or worse.

Lee Rigby, beaded by Evil last week

Lee Rigby, beaded by Evil last week

Demonstrations like this one in a few years back have been on the boil http://rt.com/news/uk-anti-islamists-anti-fascists-protest/

However, Yesterday in York a planned demonstration by the English Defense League supporters was calmed down when a mosque started serving tea and biscuits to EDL Protesters and defused the situation. If only this happened more eh. It says a lot that Muslims are trying to get the message over “We don’t all want to kill you” And I say well done to this little Mosque in York, England. A proud moment for humanity. It is sad Lee died, but an eye for an eye attitude will lead to chaos, that probably will still happen to erupt in the streets of England. I am well known for wanting Independence from England, for my Country Scotland, but today I am proud to say “I am British” I only hope that other EDL members act in the same manner and react this way.

A very British way of doing things, settling things over a good cup of Tea

A mosque has been praised for serving tea and biscuits to English Defense League supporters after the far-right group arranged a demonstration there.

About six people turned up to protest at the mosque in Bull Lane, York, on Sunday and were invited inside to play football with worshippers.

More than 100 supporters of the mosque had gone there after learning of the planned EDL protest.

Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu said the mosque’s response was “fantastic”.

He said: “Tea, biscuits, and football are a great and typically Yorkshire combination when it comes to disarming hostile and extremist views.”

‘Proud moment’

Father Tim Jones, who went to the Bull Lane mosque, which is situated in his parish, said: “I’ve always known they were intelligent and compassionate people and I think this has demonstrated the extent to which they are people of courage – certainly physical courage and also a high degree of moral courage.

“I think the world can learn from what happened outside that ramshackle little mosque on Sunday.”

Hull Road ward councillor Neil Barnes said it had been a “proud moment for York”.

He said: “I don’t think I’ll ever forget the day that the York Mosque tackled anger and hatred with peace and warmth – and I won’t forget the sight of a Muslim offering a protester tea and biscuits with absolute sincerity.”

Fears over a demonstration grew after Yorkshire EDL Scarborough Division posted a message on its Facebook page calling for supporters to gather outside the mosque.

Imam Abid Salik said: “We did have a few people who did come to protest but when they came some of the members of the mosque went over and they engaged in a conversation.

“Some people went over with cups of tea and biscuits, they were talking for about 30 or 40 minutes and then they came inside, which was a really, really beautiful thing.”

Father Tim Jones said "the world can learn" from what happened outside the mosque

Father Tim Jones said “the world can learn” from what happened outside the mosque, a small one at that. If only, we can pray
